Duration
An Atlas for Glocal Imaginaries aims to discuss how the global crisis affects local conditions, striving to explore bottom-up initiatives, contemporary socio-environmental movements, emerging alternative practices, tactics and open-ended planning models. Looking at concepts such as de-growth, transition, the commons, re-localization, and environmental justice, initiatives and movements that resonate in historical movements and critique from earlier decades. Striving to open for a common ground of communication where new networks of collaboration can happen, the workshop will construct an atlas mapping, exploring and connecting local initiatives in various parts of the world online, in a temporary classroom at the Future School in Venice.
